After striking out on his own, first as a Salesforce consultant, he discovered his passion for problem-solving and scalable systems best fit the needs of small and medium-sized businesses, who could iterate faster than their larger competitors. In 2020, he founded Caret Growth Strategies on the belief that technology can deliver quality and efficiency to any size organization.

Founder Mike Simpson was looking for a strong symbol that represented growth and an upward trajectory and landed on the humble caret, which not only points upwards but is also used to represent exponential growth in math functions.
